THE PLAYERS
DIVI: Played by Karima Walker
Karima's acting experience began in the 3rd grade, as the evil queen's servant in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. This appearance was followed a 10 year hiatus after which she played an old lady in the church production, Every Little Crook and Nanny. With the exception of a one-act, the years thereafter passed as years do until she recorded a small album two weeks before coming to Jeju (http://karimawalker.bandcamp.com/album/a-good-year). She also contributed to the Vagina Monologues in March.
KIP: Played by Shannon Warren
Shannon is from Canada, home of Mr. Dressup and his tickle-trunk. When Shannon was young he had a treasure chest full of costumes and liked to dress up. He also rode his bike and played in the sandbox all day. Years later nothings changed. And he's exceedingly grateful for that.
TRENT: Played by Paul Hughes
Paul is from England, the sceptered isle run by Obama, Richard Branson and Rupert Murdoch. With a passion for Shakespeare and a penchant for cheap laughs he managed to shout his way through a whole host of plays and theater. He hopes you all have a Super time tonight at the performance.
SHELL: Played by Sarah Ranco
A pint-sized Canuck who feels ten feet tall. Sarah’s acting career generally consists of being loud or moaning her way through various comedic reviews and monologues. Her interests include fanciful ideas, whimsical notions, and the overuse of a Thesaurus.
DIRECTOR/WRITER: Sarah Delroy (Yaroslasky)
This is Sarah's first full-length play and second time directing her own work. Her first piece, 'Love Through the Fourth Wall' was a one-act featured in The Minden Fringe in Ontario, Canada. Super! came about through a discussion with her mother concluding that everyone deserved a superhero certificate after getting through a day without being a weaselly schmuck.
